What you will be doing
- As assessor, you advise architects, project developers and engineers in designing sustainable buildings. You make an estimate of the score a building can achieve according to the BREEAM label. In doing so, you map out the study cost and any construction cost
- You advise on the studies that can contribute to a more sustainable building
- You critically evaluate, advise and follow up on the project on various BREEAM themes such as Health & Wellbeing, Energy, Material, …
- You coordinate the necessary studies to make sure they are made at the right time and give an added value to the project
- You guide the design team and make sure to receive all necessary data on time. You make sure the projects comply with the BREEAM requirements and you are responsible for the certification
- You contribute to the contents of large, multidisciplinary projects and you independently manage the BREEAM certifications, organization-wise and financially

Job requirements
What you’ll bring
- You want to make an impact in the building sector. You have a master’s in engineering with specialisation in construction, energy, architecture or equivalent through experience
- You have assessed several BREEAM projects as BREEAM AP or as BREEAM Assessor. Junior assessors are also welcome to apply
- You are prepared to let your knowledge grow exponentially over a short period of time and are open to sharing your own experience and expertise with colleagues
- You possess strong organizational skills, take ownership and can work autonomously
- You speak Dutch or French or English.
